Download
Wizard will open. Click "Next", select your fingerprint reader in the list and click "Next" again.
Disconnect your reader from the computer (if connected), click the link to download the
driver, run the
driver installation program, plug the reader in to the computer, restart Firefox.
-
If you have DigitalPersona Password Manager installed: make sure you have at least one fingerprint
registered with the program. It's recommended that you have both index fingers registered.
If you don't have DigitalPersona Password Manager installed:
switch to Firefox window and touch the fingerprint reader with any finger. The Fingerprint
Registration Wizard will open. Click "Next", click the left index finger, touch the reader four
times with your left index finger. Repeat the process for your right index finger. Click "Next" and
then "Close".

Fingerprint Login window will open. In this window, type the appropriate information required for
login in the corresponding fields and choose the button that is used to submit the

Click a question to open the answer. FingerAuth Password Manager and DigitalPersona Password Manager integration Do I have to register my fingerprints on both programs? For a fresh new installation of FingerAuth Password Manager on a machine running DigitalPersona Password
Manager, the default mode is to identify your fingerprints using DigitalPersona Password Manager, thus
you don't have to register your fingerprints on both programs. However, if you configured FingerAuth
Password Manager, in the fingerprint properties, to not identify your fingerprints using DigitalPersona
Password Manager, in order to use both products in the same computer you must register your fingerprints
in FingerAuth Password Manager.
When I create a fingerprint login in Internet Explorer, will it be available automatically in
Firefox and vice-versa?No. FingerAuth Password Manager and DigitalPersona Password Manager are different products and thus
do not share the fingerprint logins between them. To log in to the same page on both web browsers in
the same computer you must create the same fingerprint login in each browser. Multiple users of the same computer What happens with the fingerprints and logins in a computer used by several users?FingerAuth Password Manager is installed per user, and not per computer. In Windows Vista, XP, 2000
and Server 2003 it means that there's no interference nor information sharing between the several users of
the same machine. The fingerprints and logins are stored separate for each user. Nevertheless,
Windows 98, 98SE and Me don't have real support for multiple users, thus in these operating systems
there's only one set of logins and fingerprints for all users therefore making the program usable by
only one person.
I registered FingerAuth Password Manager and installed it on another account in my computer, but it runs in trial mode. Why?FingerAuth Password Manager is installed per user, and not per
computer. If you installed FingerAuth Password Manager on another
account in your computer, you must follow the instructions to register
it again. Passwords If I change my password on a website I logged in by using my fingerprint, will FingerAuth Password
Manager automatically update the fingerprint login? No. When you change your password on a website you log in by using your fingerprint it's highly
recommended that you immediately update your fingerprint login, changing the previous password by
the new one. Until you do so the fingerprint login for this website will fail.
Is it possible to view the passwords in FingerAuth Password Manager? No. For your security, the passwords typed while creating or editing fingerprint logins aren't
displayed by FingerAuth Password Manager.
How can I manually backup my passwords and registered fingerprints?FingerAuth Password Manager doesn't offer yet any feature to backup, export or import your passwords. However, you can
manually backup both your passwords and registered fingerprints.
