This policy describes the ways A&H Software Ltda. and FingerAuth Password Manager collect, store, use and
protect your personal information.
Login information protection
· FingerAuth Password Manager itself doesn't transmit, by any way and for any reason, the login
information or
the registered fingerprints. All necessary information needed by the program to run is stored in the computer itself. Due this, it isn't necessary having Internet connection to run FingerAuth Password Manager; it can be used in intranets, local networks and even on a not connected computer.
Fingerprint protection
· FingerAuth Password Manager doesn't store fingerprint images. It creates a template - which
is the digital
mathematical representation of a fingerprint - which is stored in an encrypted file. When the fingerprint reader
is touched for logging in to a website, a new fingerprint template is created and compared with the one already registered; if the templates match, the login is done. The creation of a fingerprint template is a data conversion operation that can't be reversed, i.e., it's not possible to recreate a fingerprint image from its template.
Personal information
· A&H Software Ltda. collects personal information when you buy a registration code for
FingerAuth Password
Manager. This information is used solely for creating the registration code(s) acquired and registered
user area and replying support requests. Collected personal information, including e-mail addresses, are not and will not be published, sold or
rent to any other people or companies, and users aren't contacted by e-mail in any unsolicited way.
· A&H Software Ltda. collects your name and e-mail address when you contact us using the
electronic contact
form. Your name and e-mail address is used solely for the purpose of replying your inquiry, and will not be
published, sold or rent to any other people or companies, and you will not be contacted by e-mail in any
unsolicited way.
· A&H Software Ltda. uses cookies and other technologies to enhance your online experience,
including tracking your registration code acquisition and registered user area login.
· A&H Software Ltda.'s servers automatically record information when you visit our website,
including the URL, IP address, browser type and language, and the date and time of your request.
